CONNECTING THE HAND OF GOD TO HIS CHILDREN IN NEED
WHAT'S GOOD IN OUR HOOD
Faith communities can happen inside and outside of the local church. They are open groups of people – often diverse in age, ethnicity or stage of life – who are dedicated to learning together about God. These community groups pray for each other, read God’s Word, talk about life, reach out to others in need and provide true friendship.
Discipleship within a faith community also has the potential for greater inward and outward impact:
Community helps bring the Word of God to life.
Communal prayer ignites life-change.
Community is essential for effective evangelism.
Community plays an important role in character growth.

LAKE PLACID CAMP AND CONFERENCE CENTER

Lake Placid Camp & Conference Center exists to partner with ministries, churches and individual Christians in carrying out the Great Commission and the edification of the Church for Jesus Christ. THE SHEPHERD'S PANTRY
The seeds of The Shepherd's Pantry ministry are rooted in Jesus' call to feed the hungry and care for the stranger, as stated in Matthew 25. Every month we compassionately welcome our guests, giving each family 3 days worth of groceries and a homemade meal, knowing that we are all just one situation away from being in need. Our passion for God is expressed through the works of our hands and the smile in our eyes.
SAMARITAN'S TOUCH
We are a faith-based charitable healthcare center in Highlands County offering free primary and specialized medical, dental and vision care to uninsured financially struggling families who have no medical insurance of any kind and whose income is at or below 200% of the Federal Poverty Guidelines.
For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, 39 neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

The Voice of the Martyrs (VOM) serves persecuted Christians in the world’s most difficult and dangerous places to follow Christ. Pastor Richard Wurmbrand and his wife, Sabina, founded VOM after being imprisoned for their Christian witness in Communist Romania. Since 1967, VOM has been dedicated to inspiring all believers to a biblical faith by telling the stories of persecuted Christians, thereby inspiring a deeper commitment to Christ and the fulfillment of his Great Commission, no matter the cost.

The Voice of the Martyrs continues this mission around the world today through the following purposes:
-
To encourage and empower Christians to fulfill the Great Commission in areas of the world where they are persecuted for sharing the gospel of Jesus Christ.
-
To provide practical relief and spiritual support to the families of Christian martyrs.
-
To equip persecuted Christians to love and win to Christ those who are opposed to the gospel in their part of the world.
-
To undertake projects of encouragement, helping believers rebuild their lives and Christian witness in countries where they have formerly suffered oppression.
-
To promote the fellowship of all believers by informing the world of the faith and courage of persecuted Christians, thereby inspiring believers to a deeper level of commitment to Christ and involvement in His Great Commission.
